Austroraptor cabezii doing its thing. I borrowed liberally from :iconantoninjury: in configuring the stance based on the artists pic of Tsaagan: nashd1.deviantart.com/art/Dino… For my post where I discuss the distinct probability that some (but not all) theropods were croc-faced killers; discussing more of the skull texture of tyrannosaurids and comparing the texture to phorusrhacoids; and fleshy lipped genetic monsters!! antediluviansalad.blogspot.com…

love the sky and water!

Sauropodlet-Snatching, Fish-Theiving Wood Stork-Raptor of Death?

(Saltasaurus is from the same formation and I doubt any Austroraptor Would turn away from thousands of simultaneously hatching baby titanosaurs)

EDIT: Auca Mahuevo is Anacleto Formation, not Allen Formation, and the eggs were laid by Neuquensaurus, not Saltasaurus.

Though Princeton Field Guide to Dinosaurs second edition lists both Sauropods as likely in the same genus...
Then again GSP seems to overlump a lot and some of the stuff in the book seems questionable at best (Jeholornis grouped with Therizinosaurs) even without including the shrink-wrapping.
